Manufacturing Limitations

Daedalus may produce CAD geometry, drawings, BOMs, toolpath suggestions, G-code, and manufacturability commentary. These are assistive Generated Artifacts under the IP Ownership policy. You own the files generated for your Tenant; ownership does not expand warranties.

Unless a signed enterprise SOW expressly states otherwise:

• Outputs are not stamped PE drawings, FAA/FDA/UL certifications, or code-compliance certificates;
• Echo is not acting as your engineer of record, manufacturer of record, or notified body;
• You must have qualified humans review geometry, tolerances, materials, fixturing, feeds/speeds, and safety before cutting metal or releasing products.

G-code and toolpaths assume idealized machines, tools, and stock. Real CNC controllers, tool wear, workholding, coolant, material lots, and thermal conditions differ. Always simulate and dry-run on your target controller. Echo is not liable for machine crashes, tool breakage, scrap, injury, or facility damage arising from use of suggested toolpaths.

Do not rely solely on Daedalus for aerospace primary structure, medical implants, pressure vessels, automotive safety systems, weapons, or other regulated/safety-critical applications without independent engineering, testing, and required approvals. You remain responsible for compliance with export controls and local manufacturing law.

You must ensure designs do not infringe third-party patents or trademarks and that referenced standards are used under proper licenses. Echo does not warrant non-infringement of design outputs.
